Bryan Kest Long Slow Deep (LSD) Class

Bryan Kest Long Slow Deep (LSD) Class

SOLD OUT!

Long Slow Deep sequence focuses on floor postures designed to open the hips, create space and length for the spine and take us into the most peaceful part of our mind. It compliments the busy lifestyle we live today – we’re used to being so “busy” during our workouts and in yoga practice that going slower can be helpful in getting us to quiet our minds and bodies.

Long Slow Deep, or LSD yoga as commonly referred to by it’s founder Bryan Kest, originated as a complimentary series to Power Yoga. Bryan Kest is recognized as a creator of Power Yoga.

The combination of deep stretching poses are held for longer duration (usually 2-3 minutes) and giving the massive areas of the body such as hamstrings, groin, hips, back, etc more time to release. Props can be used throughout the class to support the body, although LSD is not a restorative class – we still use the body and effort of the body to create the pose and reap the endless benefits of LSD. LSD is great for those who have injuries that prevent them participating in faster style (eg power, vinyasa) classes.

Space is limited.

$75 before July 1st, $85 thereafter.

Bryan Kest Power Yoga Master Class

SOLD OUT!

Bryan Kest’s Power Yoga Master Class is a well rounded flowing asana practice integrating mental practices that enhance everyday living. The class is intended to invigorate your body and help you practice developing a calm, less reactive state of mind with dynamic flowing routines in a warm (approximately 80 degrees) room. In a Power Yoga workshop, you are encouraged to focus on the process and not the end result. This allows ALL levels of yoga practitioners to enjoy and benefit from the workshop.

This Power Yoga Master Class will include approximately 1 hour in which Bryan shares his basic philosophy and fundamental views on yoga and life in general, followed by a 2 hour physical practice incorporating principles from his discussion.

Space is limited.

$75 before July 1st, $85 thereafter.
