Flow 1/2 and Happy Hour FLow

Expect this class to include traditional asana (poses) and sequences: sun salutations, standing poses, seated poses, backbends and an opportunity to learn/practice inversions.   Open to all experience levels (even beginners!) and individual modifications will be available.

Sweat

Endurance, flexibility and strength with a focus on connecting the rhythm of the breath with the movements. The flow is rooted in Sun Salutations and builds to include several postures. This is a class is for those who want a bit of a challenge with their yoga. The room will be heated to 90 degrees with humidity. Plan to sweat. Don’t forget to bring a bottle of water. All levels welcome, but best if you had prior experience with yoga.

Gentle

A good foundation will help build a solid practice. Great for beginners to learn various postures, breathing techniques and quieting down the chatter in the mind. Poses may be held longer and more detailed explanations may be given. The Basics are always a great place to fine tune your practice, even if you aren't new to yoga.

Gentle-ish

In this class expect a solid gentle flow with options to intensify your practice if you would like. Good for new students as well as seasoned yogis.

Power Yoga

An Ashtanga based approach to yoga. The room is warm, not hot, (about 76 degrees) and the sequence is based on Beryl Bend Birch Present Power class, a sequence that is mostly Primary Series but then adds postures to round out the practice that are considered back and shoulder therapy. Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a vigorous and mindful flow. In a power yoga class, students will build strength, flexibility and concentration while cleansing the body and calming the mind. You can expect a great cardiovascular and strength building workout combined with breath work.  This class is not intended for beginner yogis.

Flow 2/3

Challenge yourself to take your practice to new levels. This class focuses on building full body strength, increasing flexibility, and finding balance. This moderate to rigorously paced class will explore more advanced postures. Moderate yoga experience is required.

Yin

Suitable for all levels.  Yin Yoga invites you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Yin is yoga at its coolest, deepest, quietest, stillest moments. This class will have you on the floor most of the time, using as many props needed to create as little effort while holding poses. Poses are held for 2-5 minutes allowing joints and fascia to release. This class will complement your Vinyasa practice and will open and release areas in need of more attention.

surrender
