WE will be groovin' on a Friday night putting a little funk in your flow! Journey to the center of your soul and celebrate the rhythm of top Motown tunes by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Jackson 5, The Temptations, and many more favorites produced in Detroit during the 1960s.
Josh will provide the "soul" awakening grooves, and Danielle will lead the funky flow.

Join us in welcoming our newest yoga teacher, Cheryl Yeager. She will lead a class to awaken the mind and body connection. Let everything else go as you cultivate a practice of mindful breathing, slow vinyasa and gentle stretching. Then join us in an extended guided meditation aimed to deepen your focus, de-clutter the mind and enhance your overall mental well-being. The sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems both get their chance to shine, and you will feel gently energized and balanced.

As the Crow Flies: Arm Balancing 101

Whether you are new to arm balances or working on the finishing touches, this workshop will give you the tools to take yours to the next level. Rebecca will guide you through a strategic strengthening flow class, then break down crow, side crow, and others with safe cuing, proper technique, and variations to aid your practice. You will leave with a better understanding of the mechanics and alignment of these challenging poses in your own body. Strong beginners through seasoned practitioners welcome.

Bellies, Breathing & Birth

This workshop series will be led by Jessica Northam guiding you through a 2 hour prenatal yoga class of different postures and breathing exercises to promote better health during pregnancy, labor, and beyond.
You will learn how to apply and use the breath through each posture to reduce stress, increase circulation, prepare for labor, and more.
You will be given a wide range of anchoring tools to help guide your focus, concentration, and mindfulness throughout your pregnancy and especially during labor.

Sessions include guided practice that supports those trying to conceive, modifications for all trimesters of pregnancy, as well as for postpartum. Classes will include thoughtful sequencing, a breakdown of postures, benefits, restorative asanas,snacks and space to build community.
